DFS Group lays off employees in Singapore
DFS Group began local layoffs, including at DFS T Galleria. An anonymous employee said more than 60 T Galleria employees were laid off on Thursday morning and alleged that the process gave them only 15 to 30 minutes to receive and sign notices before being escorted out. DFS said the layoffs were driven by its withdrawal from Changi Airport’s liquor and tobacco concession and challenges in the global retail environment.
