IITM Pravartak and Dialog Axiata form a strategic partnership
IITM Pravartak and Dialog Axiata PLC signed an MoU for a strategic partnership to explore research, innovation, technology development, skills development and knowledge sharing in Sri Lanka. Dialog will serve as the collaboration anchor and technology enabler, and the partnership will begin with selected pilot projects.

Dialog sells stake in Digital Health
Dialog Axiata PLC sold a 20 percent stake in Digital Health (Private) Limited, operator of the Doc990 platform, to Sunshine Healthcare Lanka Limited and Nawaloka Hospitals PLC for a total of Rs.374.9 million. The transaction reduced Dialog group’s ownership to 44.66 percent, and Digital Health ceased to be a group subsidiary.

Global Wavenet joined Dialog Axiata and Bank of Ceylon as the official technology partner to establish Sri Lanka’s first National COVID-19 Integrated Home-based Care Solution. Wavenet supplied the patient management system, Dialog provided telecom service, and Bank of Ceylon facilitated the call centre.
