    Yemen employee consultation and dismissal controversy

    Following DNO’s 2015 suspension of Yemeni operations, employee representatives raised concerns about collective dismissals, insufficient consultation, organizing rights and unpaid wages or benefits. Norway’s National Contact Point concluded in 2018 that DNO had not met the expectations in the OECD Guidelines concerning prior notice and consultation with DNO Yemen employees.
