    Nvidia to take minority stake in French medical platform Doctolib

    Nvidia will acquire a minority equity stake in French medical booking platform Doctolib, as announced by CEO Jensen Huang in Paris, AFP reported on Oct 13; the investment amount was not disclosed. Doctolib CEO Stanislas Niox-Chateau said the new funds will be used to accelerate hiring and the development of in-house AI models to provide personal assistants for doctors and patients and handle administrative tasks. Doctolib plans to run its models on Nvidia chips while retaining control of the models and patient data. Nvidia also said it has invested at least $8 billion in Europe over the past year.
