Huawei and Telenor present an energy-efficient antenna demonstration
Huawei and mobile operator Telenor jointly presented a commercial energy-efficient antenna demonstration during MWC22 Barcelona. The project used Huawei antennas in Telenor's Thai subsidiary DTAC network and was reported to achieve up to 15% energy savings per site.

Telenor and CP announce plan to combine Thai mobile units
Telenor and CP said they plan to combine their Thai mobile units, dtac and True, in a merger that would create a new company. The tie-up remains subject to board, shareholder and regulatory approval.

DTAC purchased the Mail.dat and Mail.XML specification standards and related assets from Idealliance under a July 8, 2020 sales agreement; the materials are to be owned and operated by DTAC.
