Rejected subway advertisement and truck-image dispute

The MTA rejected a Dumbo advertisement showing a partially nude couple touching among moving boxes. After the company displayed the image on a moving truck instead, members of Brooklyn's Orthodox Jewish community painted over it in March 2016, saying the advertisement was too risqué. The incident led to national attention.
