On Aug. 5, coffee chain Dutch Bros announced it had entered into an agreement to purchase 65 closed Salad and Go locations across Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Oklahoma. If the deal goes through, the buildings would be converted into Dutch Bros locations. Competitor 7Brew Coffee also announced it had made a better offer.

Dutch Bros Tucson closes shop for deep cleaning after employee tests positive
After a Dutch Bros Tucson employee tested positive for COVID-19, the franchise temporarily closed a shop at 5690 W. Cortaro Farms Road for third-party deep cleaning. The company said it began closing procedures immediately after learning of the positive test.
