Dynas International fined over camellia oil sourcing claims
Fine or penalty
Dynas International Corp was fined NT$3 million by Taipei's Department of Health in connection with claims about the sourcing of its camellia oil. According to the department, the company provided inaccurate information intended to substantiate its claim that the camellia oil was made from tea seeds sourced from Alishan. The penalty concerns the information supplied to support the sourcing claim rather than a separate finding about the product itself.
