Broadcast suspension over alleged racist and discriminatory content
On 2 May 2025, Algeria's National Independent Authority for Audiovisual Regulation suspended Echorouk News for ten days. The authority said the channel had used dangerously racist terminology concerning undocumented migrants from African countries and that the content constituted hate speech and discrimination.
