    Everything Sprouts recalls alfalfa sprouts linked to 15-state E. coli and Salmonella outbreak

    Everything Sprouts LLC of Minneapolis, MN, is recalling three varieties of alfalfa sprouts products because they have been linked to a 15-state outbreak of Shiga toxin producing E. coli (STEC) and/or Salmonella. The recalled products were distributed from May 27 to Aug. 21 to wholesale distributors and grocery stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin. To date, 55 reports of illnesses have been received by federal and state partners related to the alfalfa sprouts.
