    Fair Oaks Farms animal-abuse investigation

Animal Recovery Mission released undercover footage alleging that employees at Fair Oaks Farms in Indiana abused calves through hitting, kicking, pushing and other acts of mistreatment. The investigation also challenged claims about the destination of male calves. Retailers including Jewel-Osco announced removals or suspensions of Fairlife products, while Fairlife faced pressure to improve sourcing controls. Some details and competing claims about the investigation were disputed by involved parties.
