    Shenzhen Securities Regulator Orders Rectification Over Insufficient Basis for Goodwill Impairment Test

    The Shenzhen Securities Regulatory Bureau said Fenda Technology had insufficient basis for the goodwill impairment test of Fuchengda and nonstandard subsidiary control and financial accounting; in 2019, the company fully impaired the goodwill of Fuchengda and Oupengda by RMB 2.545 billion and RMB 254 million, respectively. In December 2023, it was again ordered to rectify for failing to disclose a supplementary equity transfer agreement and other issues, and it corrected its 2021 and 2022 statements. It was ordered to take corrective measures twice.
