eFunds prepaid-card ATM attack
Hackers used 22 stolen prepaid cards associated with one FIS client to withdraw approximately $13 million from ATMs. The incident involved FIS's eFunds Prepaid Solutions operations.

Certegy consumer-record theft
A worker connected with a Certegy Check Services subsidiary stole consumer records containing financial and payment information. Public estimates rose from roughly 2.3 million to approximately 8.5 million records, and a class-action lawsuit was filed against Certegy and FIS.
