Fincantieri-Prysmian joint venture completes acquisition of Xtera
Fincantieri announced the completion of the acquisition of Xtera Topco Limited, a UK- and US-based company in subsea telecommunications systems, through the joint venture between Prysmian (80%) and Fincantieri (20%). The transaction, first announced in December 2025, contributes to expanding the range of services developed through the Fincantieri-Prysmian partnership in the development, monitoring and protection of subsea infrastructure.

Mubadala and Fincantieri sign collaboration agreement
Mubadala and Fincantieri signed a memorandum of understanding to develop projects in naval, marine, and industrial sectors. The agreement provides for work through specialized subsidiaries, studies of additional collaboration areas, and after-sales services offered by Mubadala subsidiary Sanad for Fincantieri and other OEM products.
