10 commercial vehicle makers recall 1,675 vehicles over safety standard defects
The State Administration for Market Regulation launched defect investigations into 10 commercial vehicle manufacturers and urged recalls, involving 56 models and 1,675 vehicles in total. The companies involved include Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle, Foton, Jiefang, JAC and Sinotruk affiliates; the defects include noncompliant protective devices, roof bars, reflective markings and departure reminders. Foton Daimler recalls Auman stake-bed trucks over roof pole defect
Beijing Foton Daimler recalled 61 Auman stake-bed transport trucks. The roof poles were not fixed or the spacing was too large, creating risks of over-height loading, overload, and roof poles falling off; the recall was carried out under the influence of a regulatory investigation, with the measure being installation and welding fixation.
