Roanoke workplace shooting
On October 25, 2016, a former employee opened fire at a FreightCar America building in Roanoke, Virginia. One employee, David Wesley Brown, was killed and three others were wounded. The shooter then died by suicide. Police described the incident as apparent workplace violence while investigating whether terrorism was involved.
