    On January 19, 2011, a leak occurred at the stabilization unit of the heavy oil catalytic unit at PetroChina Fushun Petrochemical No. 2 Plant; deethanized gasoline ignited and flash-exploded and burned, causing 1 death, 2 missing and over 30 injuries. Windows of more than 1,000 nearby households were damaged, and the unit was shut down. This was another explosion at Fushun Petrochemical within a short period. The unit was shut down, and the accident was investigated with accountability pursued.
