1992
Incitement-to-paedophilia controversy and sales restriction
Gaie France was criticized for publishing sexualized images of adolescents, soliciting nude photographs from underage readers, defending paedophilia, and carrying advertisements linked to paedophile meetings. A ministerial decree of May 27, 1992, prohibited its sale to minors on the stated ground of incitement to paedophilia.
