The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has announced the recall of more than 1,600 pounds of ready-to-eat WASHINGTON - pickled goat and chicken products made by an Austin, Texas, company, as they were produced without the benefit of inspection.
FSIS identified this as an active Class I recall, its highest health-risk classification. However, there have been no confirmed reports of illness associated with consumption of the recalled products.
