Indus Foods recalls pickled goat and chicken products over lack of inspection

Indus Foods, doing business as Gangothri Foods, recalled approximately 1,626 pounds of ready-to-eat pickled goat and chicken products produced without the benefit of inspection, according to FSIS. The products were distributed nationwide to restaurants, retail locations and distributors, and sold directly to consumers online. FSIS classified it as an active Class I recall, though no illnesses were confirmed.
