Gay Lea Foods launches $200M Toronto dairy plant expansion
Gay Lea Foods plans to invest more than $200 million to expand its dairy manufacturing facility on Clayson Road in Toronto, increasing production capacity for cottage cheese and other high-protein dairy products. The project, the first major initiative under the co-operative's approximately $450-million Network for Growth strategy, is expected to be completed in 2028 and create up to 75 new positions.
