    14K merchandise police case

Douglas Young and 17 employees were detained after police alleged that shirts and postcards bearing “14K” insignia could fall under Hong Kong laws concerning triad societies. G.O.D. said the design referred to 14-karat gold rather than a criminal organization. The detainees were released the following day, and the merchandise later became collectible.
