    HHLA commissions private 5G campus network at Container Terminal Altenwerder with Deutsche Telekom and Ericsson

    Hamburger Hafen und Logistik (HHLA) has commissioned a private 5G campus network at its Container Terminal Altenwerder (CTA), developed in partnership with Deutsche Telekom and Ericsson as part of the PROCON-5G project. The network has been operational across more than one square kilometre of the terminal since the end of May 2026, using locally allocated spectrum independent of the public mobile network to support automated operations and real-time logistics.
