The Lycra Company and HeiQ announced a partnership to combine their technologies, commercial networks and global marketing channels, initially targeting China. A stretchable antiviral fabric is the first new product arising from the partnership and was planned for introduction at the Intertextile show in Shanghai on August 25–27, 2021.

Alchemie Technology announced a partnership with HeiQ as it prepared the production rollout of its Novara digital finishing system to the global textile market. The companies said their combined technologies had achieved finishing performance using half the chemistry required by traditional finishing methods.
