    Belgian diamond heist involving a Helvetic aircraft

    On 18 February 2013, eight armed men wearing police uniforms entered Brussels Airport through a hole in the perimeter fence and seized diamond parcels loaded onto a passenger aircraft operated by Helvetic Airways. The aircraft was preparing to depart for Zurich. The robbery was completed rapidly without injuries or shots being fired.
