Editorial dispute over Major Logue's coded diary passages

Hesperian Press faced criticism after deciding not to publish diary sections that reportedly revealed Major Logue's participation in the murders of at least 19 Yamatji people. Historian Chris Owen criticized the decision. Peter Bridge later said he intended to publish the document as originally written, while attributing the difficulty in part to the technical challenge of reproducing the coded characters.
