Maithan Alloys Limited announced on Wednesday that it acquired 7.8 lakh equity shares of listed telecom infrastructure company HFCL Limited for ₹20 crore through the stock exchange in a cash transaction. The transaction, completed on 13 October 2026, gave Maithan Alloys a 0.05% stake in HFCL. The company stated the investment is intended for long-term and short-term benefits and that it does not plan to acquire control of HFCL's management.
