Hillhouse launches data centre platform TeraNova DC
Hillhouse launched TeraNova DC, a new data centre platform, and may deploy $12-15 billion in India by 2032. TeraNova DC CEO Sanjay Bhutani said the aim is to build a platform that helps customers turn their growth plans into operational capacity with speed, reliability and confidence.

Philips agrees to sell its Domestic Appliances business to Hillhouse
Royal Philips announced that it had signed an agreement to sell its Domestic Appliances business to investment firm Hillhouse for approximately €3.7 billion. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval, and was expected to close by the end of the third quarter of 2021.

Philips grants Hillhouse an exclusive global brand license
As part of the announced transaction, Philips will grant the Domestic Appliances business an exclusive global license to use the Philips brand and certain related appliance product brands for manufacturing, marketing and sales for 15 years, with a possible extension subject to conditions.
