Crider Foods recalls canned beef products over possible lead contamination
Crider Foods recalled approximately 525,717 pounds of canned beef with gravy products that may contain unsafe levels of lead because of a spice mix from an outside supplier. The affected products included Hargis House, Clover Valley, Kroger, Hostess, Laura Lynn, ARMOUR and HARVEST CREEK items.

Hostess recalls SnoBalls over packaging error
Hostess announced a recall of SnoBalls after SnoBall Coconut products were packaged in Chocolate CupCakes packaging, which did not list the coconut cake ingredient. The recall was described as a precaution involving allergies; no injuries or illnesses had been reported.
