Investigation of Rodrigo da Câmara
Rodrigo da Câmara, 3rd Count of Vila Franca, was investigated and arrested by the Inquisition following complaints concerning his conduct. His possessions, titles and privileges were confiscated, although family honors were later restored through royal intervention.
