Affiliated companies repeatedly fined for environmental violations and involved in safety accidents
In 2023, Hengyang Valin Continuous Rolling Tube received 15 fines totaling more than 5 million yuan from the Hengyang Ecology and Environment Bureau for dust, solid waste, air pollution, and refusal to correct; Valin Lianyuan Steel was fined for failing to implement emission reductions during heavy pollution weather and was investigated in the third round of central environmental inspection.
