easyJet partners with i6 Group to launch eHandshake digital fuelling platform

easyJet has partnered with aviation technology specialist i6 Group to introduce its eHandshake digital fuelling platform across its network, integrating it with the airline's existing ETechlog pilot platform to manage and verify fuel orders and deliveries digitally. The airline estimates the technology could cut carbon emissions by up to 10,000 tonnes of CO2 a year and eliminate around 600,000 sheets of paper annually, with rollout expected to cover roughly half of its network initially and around 90 percent of destinations over the next three years.
