    Scalpers brawl in mall over limited-edition sneakers

    On June 24, 2017, at the Adidas store in Shanghai IAPM mall during a limited-edition shoe release, suspected scalpers cracked the sneaker-buying software and took about 80 pairs; several scalpers brawled in the mall, police attended and handled the incident, and two people were criminally detained on suspicion of picking quarrels and provoking trouble. The involved persons were criminally detained.
