    Neighbors sue Ellis County and ibV Energy Partners over Tallgrass solar permit

    Keith and Jody Pfannenstiel, who own land and a home adjacent to the proposed Tallgrass solar facility in Ellis County, Kansas, sued the Ellis County Commission, the Ellis County Clerk and developer ibV Energy Partners, alleging the commission did not follow proper procedures when approving a conditional-use permit for the development on June 2 and that the approval was arbitrary and relied on incomplete information. ibV said through its attorney that Tallgrass is adhering to the terms of the conditional-use permit and that the lawsuit has not delayed the solar project.
