Emqore sues IHH Healthcare over alleged losses
Emqore seeks more than US$6.5 billion in damages from IHH Healthcare and other defendants. It alleges that the defendants conspired to frustrate a proposed share acquisition transaction involving Fortis Healthcare and Emqore's supposed predecessors. IHH said it believes it has strong grounds for dismissal and intends to defend against the claims.

Emqore alleges that the defendants conspired to frustrate a proposed share acquisition transaction involving Fortis; IHH said it intends to seek dismissal.

Fortis announces plan to rebrand as Parkway
Fortis Healthcare’s board gave in-principle approval to change the name and branding of the company and its subsidiaries. Subject to required approvals, Fortis proposed discontinuing the Fortis, La Femme and SRL names and using IHH’s Parkway brand for the hospital business; SRL would seek a separate new brand for diagnostics.
