    DVD production and subtitle problems

Several Illumitoon releases were affected by altered music, subtitles based on dub scripts rather than direct translations, and discs that did not function properly. The first DVDs for Beet the Vandel Buster, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, and B't X were later found to be DVD-Rs, and replacement discs with translated subtitles were offered.
