ServerIntellect ransomware attack
On September 28, 2022, ransomware affected ServerIntellect's multitenant website, database and email hosting services and caused data loss. INAP discontinued those multitenant hosting services afterward. The removal of the original incident report from the company's operational-transparency page prompted external criticism and speculation about disclosure practices.
