    Jade Presents sues three merchant cash advance lenders over predatory loans

    Bankrupt Fargo concert promoter Jade Presents filed three lawsuits in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of North Dakota on Aug. 23 and 24, 2026, accusing merchant cash advance companies Rocket Capital NY, LLC, Direct Capital Source Inc. (d/b/a Capytal.com) and Unique Funding Solutions LLC of charging predatory, disguised interest rates, in one case nearly 149% a year. Jade Presents paid the three lenders a combined $964,233 before its Chapter 11 filing and is also asking the court to throw out a competing $224,750 claim filed by Rocket Capital.
