    JGB Holdings sues City of Menominee over dispensary licensing

    JGB Holdings filed a federal lawsuit against the City of Menominee, Michigan, challenging the waiver the city required and arguing it was promised a retail cannabis license before a referendum capped dispensaries at nine. The company says it spent more than $1,750,000 on the project at 1101 7th Ave. and seeks a court order entitling it to a license, compelling the city to issue one, plus damages.
