Subsidiaries fined nearly 100 million yuan over Shaanxi cement monopoly agreement
The Shaanxi Cement Association organized 13 cement companies to reach and implement a monopoly agreement on unified price increases, and three subsidiaries under Jidong Cement participated. The Jidong subsidiaries were fined about 97.56 million yuan in total, with case-wide fines of about 451 million yuan; the association's administrative reconsideration and litigation were rejected.

In 2018, a scaffolding collapse at Linli Jidong Cement caused 2 deaths and 1 injury; in 2025, a fall-from-height accident at Jidong's Tangshan branch caused 1 death and direct economic losses of 1.97 million yuan.
