Video footage recorded in late 2010 and circulated in February 2011 showed Galliano directing antisemitic and racist abuse at people in a Paris café. Dior suspended and dismissed him, and a French court later found him guilty of public insults based on origin, religion, race, or ethnicity, imposing suspended fines totaling €6,000.
