Jones Day reports impact from Accellion vendor breach
Jones Day was affected by a breach of Accellion’s file-transfer platform, and a hacking group posted files it claimed came from the law firm. Jones Day said its own network had not been breached, denied that it was the subject of a ransomware attack, and said it was investigating the breach and communicating with affected clients and appropriate authorities.
