    Toyota turbo-restrictor infringement

    Toyota was found to have used illegal turbo-restrictor bypasses on its Celica GT-Four ST205 cars. The FIA excluded the team and imposed a 12-month ban, while Kankkunen and the other Toyota drivers were stripped of their championship points.
