Crop-circle exhibition controversy
A planned crop-circle competition received no entrants, after which the park commissioned an artist to create a circle near the entrance. A second circle appeared before the scheduled work. Investigators generally judged the formations to be human-made, citing visible errors, weak nighttime webcam evidence and vehicle activity near the field.

Criticism of the Mystery Park concept
Swiss media and commentators criticized the park's public support and its presentation of ancient-astronaut claims as a cultural and educational attraction. One cited critic used the phrase "cultural Chernobyl" to characterize the project.
