Securities law practice repeatedly warned by regulators and criticized by Shenzhen Stock Exchange
Between 2023 and 2024, JunHe was issued notices of criticism or regulatory letters by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange over IPO projects including Huayao Optoelectronics, Fangda Zhiyuan, and Yaomazi; in the Yaomazi project, lawyers Li Ruochen and Bu Zhen were named, and the media criticized 'IPO lawyers sign and get paid without taking responsibility.' In 2024, the Shanghai Securities Regulatory Bureau issued a warning letter because its bond legal services failed to perform internal verification and its legal opinions and working papers were non-compliant; in 2025, the Chongqing Securities Regulatory Bureau issued another warning letter for failure to file, failure to check integrity records, and defects in working papers and opinions. It was subject to regulatory measures including warning letters; no penalties such as suspension for rectification by judicial administrative organs were seen.
