Allegations over airport duty-free payments
King Power was accused in legal proceedings of failing to pay the Thai state the required amount from its airport duty-free monopoly and of colluding with airport employees. King Power rejected the allegations. Airports of Thailand disputed the interpretation of the concession terms and said revised fee calculations had not harmed the state.
