Mercedes-Benz India launches AI-powered automated Vehicle Scanner
Mercedes-Benz India introduced an AI-powered automated Vehicle Scanner at the Landmark Cars service facility in Jogeshwari, Mumbai, which creates a digital record of a car's exterior condition using a 360-degree camera setup and AI analysis of damage and tyre tread depth, with data processed in the Mercedes-Benz cloud. The company says it is the first AI-powered automated vehicle scanner introduced by a carmaker in India and that the system is already operational in Germany, Italy, Korea, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Turkey.

Mercedes-Benz India unveils XENTRY AI-powered car scanner for servicing
Mercedes-Benz India revealed the XENTRY Scanner, an AI-powered vehicle inspection device using a 360-degree camera system with 13 cameras and a LiDAR sensor, at its newly established service centre by Landmark Cars in Jogeshwari, Mumbai. The scanner captures 150 images in 3 to 5 seconds and transmits data to the Mercedes-Benz cloud for AI damage analysis. Mercedes-Benz also introduced 'Service Select', a service scheme for vehicles 7 years or older offering up to 25 percent savings on periodic service and brake care.
