    Zhuque-2 Improved Y3 Rocket Launch Fails

    On August 15, 2025, the Zhuque-2 Improved Y3 rocket launched; about 258 seconds after liftoff, the voltage on the second-stage servo power supply bus dropped abnormally, attitude became unstable, and the safety system self-destructed. The fault-closure conclusion was an arc discharge short circuit of the 450V DC bus under the second stage's low-pressure environment. LandSpace apologized, completed fault reproduction and improvement verification, and strengthened quality control of outsourced products.
