Lean Cuisine baked chicken meals recalled over plastic contamination
Nestlé Prepared Foods recalled more than 92,000 pounds of select Lean Cuisine baked chicken meals after consumer complaints about hard white plastic in the product. The firm believed pieces of a plastic conveyor belt had entered the mashed potatoes during production; no illness or injury had been reported.

Lean Cuisine recalls Fettuccini Alfredo containing undeclared chicken and soya
Nestle Prepared Foods Company recalled approximately 29,002 pounds of Lean Cuisine Fettuccini Alfredo after the vegetarian product was found to contain chicken and soya, an allergen not listed on the label. FSIS classified the recall as Class I; the article reported no confirmed adverse reactions.
