Lids announces retail partnerships with three Black sports institutions
Lids announced retail relationships with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, Black Fives, and Harlem Globetrotters. Their collaborative apparel and accessories were to be sold year-round for the first time in more than 700 Lids stores across the United States starting in February.

Lids announces first standalone stores in Europe
Lids announced its European debut with four standalone stores in the London metropolitan area. The Seven Dials store was already open at the time of the announcement; the other three locations were due to open in December.

Lids begins partnership with Breast Cancer Research Foundation
Lids announced a year-long partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation beginning October 1, 2021. The Lids Foundation will donate $100,000, and Lids will offer limited-edition customizable headwear embroidery with funds benefiting the foundation.
